Steve is about to be hanged for murder when Cheyenne saves him by marrying him. It turns out that she needs that marital status for her dealings. She also wishes to have nothing to do with Steve, but Steve becomes interested in this tough aunt.

I thought it was quite an entertaining western, even though the story isn't very high-quality. Flemmings' character is clearly explained right at the beginning of the film through a voice-over by herself. She's a tough cookie who doesn't want to know anything about love until she meets Steve, of course. It's a shame that this romance isn't really developed strongly. She plays hard to get for a while, but the transition to love is rather abrupt and comes across as a bit forced.
Rhonda Flemming certainly steals the show in terms of eye candy and she also acts quite well.
