Haha wo Kowazuya plot

After her husband dies of a heart attack, widow Chieko selflessly dedicates her life to raising her son Kosaku and stepson Sadao. Her unconscious refusal to offer Sadao as much as her own son provokes resentment in both. Years later, when Sadao goes to secondary school, he eventually finds out that he has been adopted. After this he tries to break his ties with his adoptive family and tries to live on his own.
