Golden Earring: Don't Stop the Show plot

The pop group De Golden Earring is like no other exemplary for the pop scene in The Hague as it manifested itself in the sixties. The group is now a phenomenon within the music world. The band, now over thirty years old, has a number of world hits to its name. The documentary Don't Stop the Show is a time document, made up of three storylines. The film follows a day in the life of the band members in 1998. It shows how each band member prepares for a concert in his own way and what they do in their spare time. Furthermore, through voice-overs and radio interviews, you can hear anecdotes from family members, neighbours, fans, roadies and critics. Archival material, such as home-made films, old TV recordings, recordings of live concerts and video clips, visualize the history of the band.
