Houdini plot

Erich Weiss is descended from poor Hungarian immigrants. When he gets his hands on a magic book as a teenager, he realizes that his future lies in the world of magic and illusion. He becomes a master of escape stunts and takes on a new name, Harry Houdini, the shackles king. Together with his wife Bess, he performs to packed houses all over the world. Bess is terrified, but Harry's guts are boundless. Until it goes wrong on Halloween.
