Stoney and Dave find the caveman Link who has been frozen for years. They free him and show him the city. Link is slowly adjusting to life in the 20th century, but he has no problem impressing the girls. He helps Stoney and Dave find the cool they've been looking for.

Mediocre film in which two teenagers dig up a frozen caveman from their garden. In itself a nice fish-out-of-water, but the humor is rather adolescent and sometimes stupid and there could have been a bit more to it. A few entertaining moments here and there. Pauly Shore sometimes comes across as a bit annoying.

Revisited after 34(!) years. I saw it myself as a little boy, and now I watched it with my little boy. Actually, the film was exactly as I remembered it. Just fine humor, but definitely for younger people. A bit juvenile, but there is still a teenager inside us all.
Just switch off your brain and watch. With this runtime, you can easily watch it in between other things.
