La Cruz del Diablo plot

Writer Alfred Dawson suffers strange hallucinations after taking opium, such as legendary Knights Templar chasing a young woman across the woods. He withdraws to Spain in order to kick his addiction, but gets the feeling that he is hallucinating again. Everywhere he goes he is followed by a mysterious person or something, who soon begins to kill and Dawson is held responsible for all these murders...
