V Toj Strane... plot

As long as the women argue and the men keep their eyes on the vodka bottle, everything will be fine in northern Russia. However, any form of initiative seems to bring doom and mischief with it. Good-natured Nikolai is working hard, but has been left with no more than a stomach ulcer, a dominant wife and an even more dominant mother-in-law. When the village chief wants to reward him with a trip, he inevitably gets into trouble.
