The trick with portraying the white bison almost kills the film; It looks bad.
Bronson keeps the film interesting with his character and some scenes have a nice atmosphere; the stagecoach with Slim Pickens as coachman and the scenes in the mountains when Bronson and Zane go hunting for the bison, thwarted by Kileen and his gang.
I just now noticed that Kileen was played by Clint Walker. That guy is impressively tall.

Mediocre film in which a former sheriff goes hunting for a particularly large white bison. Not exactly a standard western (the last part is more of a monster movie). Partly because of this, it comes across as somewhat unstructured and lacks a bit of direction. Still a few entertaining moments and some nice action scenes.
