Steal This Movie plot

In 1968, Abbie, Anita and a small group of friends formed the band Yippie! - a band of revolutionaries organizing organized protest against the war at the Democratic National Convention. Abbie gets the police upset and often has to appear in court. Despite this, he continues to believe in his ideals and gradually he and his friends (aka the 'Chicago Seven') begin to become a symbol of freedom in his country.
