On the edge of the Oregon wilderness, two strangers with troubled pasts are drawn together when a reclusive logger finds a runaway teenager, Dani, hypothermic and barely conscious in the woods. After rescuing Dani from the cold, the logger reluctantly agrees to take the teenager to her grandmother, and the two become unlikely traveling companions. As they journey across the state, they forge an unexpected bond and test their ability to trust each other.
