Mason of the Mounted plot

Bill Mason, a member of the Canadian mounted police, is ordered to go incognito after a horse thief who has injured one of his colleagues. The only clue he has is a pocket watch, which must belong to the perpetrator, who has since fled across the border. During his search he meets young Andy, son of a rancher who also regularly has trouble with horse thieves. A certain Calhoun and his gang are suspected, but there is no evidence yet. It is up to Bill to find him quickly and bring the perpetrator back to Canada.
