With mixed feelings I went to see this movie because there are quite a few of these kinds of movies, but this one really surprised me. Sometimes these kinds of movies are a bit monotonous, but this one really isn't. It comes across to me as a really exciting but not scary survival movie and honestly I found this one a lot better, and more realistic as far as you can call these kinds of movies realistic, than World War Z for example. Just watch this movie and judge for yourself. The ending is also beautiful but open which could be a clear hint of a sequel. Can't wait!

Entertaining Apocalypse film. Everything looks neatly cared for and the tension is palpable from the start. Although it takes a while before anything really happens. Maybe a bit more could have been done with that. Once the spectacle really starts, it all looks a lot better.
The zombies look fine, but the characters are pretty flat.
The whole thing manages to entertain enough for a Friday evening, even though it doesn't bring much new, it remains entertaining.

Mediocre film in which a man tries to survive when there is a zombie outbreak. This film has nothing new to offer within the zombie genre. It is certainly not bad, but it has all been seen before and better. Unfortunately, there are some sag moments here and there, and therefore just under 3.0 stars.
