Lillehammer ’94: 16 Days of Glory plot

Documentary about the Winter Olympics that were held in Lillehammer, Norway from 12 February to 27 February 1994. Anchorage (United States), Östersund/Åre (Sweden) and Sofia (Bulgaria) had also put themselves forward as candidates to host these games. In 1986, the IOC decided that the Summer and Winter Olympics would no longer be held in the same year. To make this new schedule possible, the Games in Lillehammer were held two years after the Albertville Games.
