Documentary about the Winter Olympics held in Innsbruck, Austria in 1964. Calgary (Canada), Lahti (Finland) and Åre (Sweden) also put themselves forward as candidates. The Games were threatened by a lack of snow. The Austrian army was called in to bring blocks of snow and ice from higher up in the mountains to prepare the ski slopes and the bob and luge track.
