Rising Up at Night plot

After a flood on the Congo River, the Congolese capital Kinshasa, home to more than 17 million people, was largely submerged in water at the end of 2022. Many have no access to electricity and the Christmas season is approaching. In short segments, filmed at night, various residents of the metropolis are followed as they try to rebuild their lives.
