Preppies plot

"Chip Thurston will inherit $50,000,000 ... if he survives the weekend."

Student Chip must pass his exams by order of his family to earn his inheritance. That is no sinecure for him, although he has the support of buddies Bayard and Marc, who also do not excel in the studies. However, Blackwel, Chip's cousin, wants to do everything he can to make sure Chip doesn't succeed. That is the only way for him to collect the family inheritance himself. Blackwell is smart enough to know that sexy women can be a distraction for Chip and his friends on their way to the library to study.

In the early 1980s, there were many such films about college boys who crave sex and come up with all sorts of creative ways to get there. But I think this one is next level. Must be no coincidence that it is a Playboy Channel production. Spicy but often silly jokes, many naked ladies, a somewhat too intrusive soundtrack. The characters have little charisma. So a weak set. It fails on the 2 main points for this genre: not particularly funny nor sexy despite the meats on display. Form(s) over content, the superlative.
