Days of Daisy plot
Daisy Bea spends her days as a high school librarian and is stuck in a rut in both her personal and professional life. As her 40th birthday approaches, she feels pressured to settle down and start a family. When the art teacher at Daisy's school abruptly quits in the middle of the school year, Daisy takes it upon herself to give West High School's students the art program they deserve. Because of her adopted profession, she begins to wonder about the true meaning of parenthood. When she meets local photographer Jack Palmer at an exhibition, she involves him in her plan and begins to see a new future for herself.
