A Home for the Holidays plot
Ella Chandler is the local owner of a hardware store. For years she tried to buy an old, abandoned house in a Colorado town. Finally, she is now in possession of the building that has not been claimed by anyone for 30 years. Not long after she moves into the house, the heir to the original owner, Russell Lewis, and his ten-year-old son, Ben, show up to claim their due. After a tense few days, it's settled - they will live in the house together until the property is settled.
