A Savannah Haunting plot
"What's in your house isn't a dead human. It's something darker."
A mother struggles with her guilt over her youngest daughter's tragic drowning. When she moves to Savannah, Georgia with the rest of her family to distance herself from the tragedy, the mother slowly begins to believe that she is being chased by her dead daughter. She discovers that a sinister force is at work when the connection between Savannah's cruel slave past and voodoo is revealed.

A mediocre horror film without too many surprises. The kind of films that we have seen before, and which always manage to captivate a selective target group. This combined with supernatural powers, a much too long-winded script and mediocre acting. This film seemed to want to build on the success of Annabelle and The Shining. Some scenes are even too ridiculous for words, and are completely separate from the story. A clear example is the character Lilath, who tries to seduce both April and her father.
