"A pagan horror."
The story takes place in the year 1263 AD. A group of plague refugees has set up a settlement in the middle of a forgotten forest. Nature has given them refuge with the vow that they would not take more of the land than they needed. But now years have passed and their hunger is greater than their vow. Shapur and Ewan search the forest for Shapur's son. They find the boy's body, but something else finds them and they return to the settlement badly injured. The next day Alis ventures into the forest and after a vision she seems to be possessed...
