Mediocre thriller. The story is not something to dwell on, so it's a case of your mind being far below zero. The beginning goes well and the crash into the sea still looks reasonable for a B-movie. Once under water, the film also descends far below sea level. There is virtually no tension and everything is so predictable. The mediocre acting also doesn't help the film get over the water. Visually it can pass. 2.0

After directing a lot of pulp films, director Claudio Fäh finally manages to release a film in (Dutch) cinemas, but the result is exactly what you would expect from a story like this. No attention seems to have been paid to the dialogues or the conducting of the cast members, because both elements are indescribably mediocre. At times No Way Up gets bogged down in a kind of television film, while the frequent use of computer effects reveals that this was really intended for the big screen. When it comes to the final action, the film is fortunately packed with entertainment and enough happens not to fall into boredom. The concept is particularly absurd and there are some nice scares left and right, but in the end it remains unambitious entertainment. It's a shame that the substantive added value has been put together so lazily.
