28-year-old ballerina Elise Gautier [Marion Barbeau] sees her big chance for a breakthrough shattered when she sustains a serious ankle injury during a performance. Partly because she has not sufficiently recovered an earlier injury to the same ankle, there is a chance that she will never be able to dance again. Sabrina [Souheila Yacoub] and Loïc [Pio Marmai] convince her to help with their food truck at Josiane [Muriel Robin], who rents out her studio for conferences or rehearsals. Coincidentally, a dance company has just arrived there with some old acquaintances. When choreographer Hofesh [Hofesh Shechter] asks her to act as partner of Mehdi [Mehdi Baki] during a rehearsal, the blood is thicker than water. There is hardly a story, but Barbeau's charisma and the impressive, well-filmed dance scenes ensure that this never gets boring. It goes without saying that this is especially recommended for lovers or admirers of expressive dance.

This pleasant film left me with a good feeling. Both the classical and the modern ballet scenes are beautiful. Surrounded by a nice story about a dancer who gets seriously injured, but gets back on her feet and starts her second life. A beautiful role by Marion Barbeau. Well done.

I can't place yeyo's grumpy comments.

Well-maintained film that is pleasant to watch. But somehow I was waiting for a bit of drama or climax that never came. Despite the two-hour sitting, the end credits came as a surprise and left me unsatisfied. A shame, because the acting, atmosphere, music, camera work, etc. were all perfectly fine. *3.0
