Christmas in the Wilds plot
It's been a few months since ranger Buck Thompson and geologist Jessica Alaway met and fell in love while escaping a wildfire together. While Buck's work makes planning difficult, the two hope to spend their first Thanksgiving and Christmas together. However, their plans are interrupted when Buck is called away to Avalon County on an avalanche rescue mission. What was expected to be a brief emergency is extended by days and then by weeks. But Buck and Jessica are determined to spend some time alone before Christmas.
