After her mother's tragic death, eight-year-old Olivia visits a lake house with her father. There, father and daughter encounter a mysterious clown who suddenly appears out of nowhere. It turns out to be the infamous Amityville demon who has disguised himself.

Olivia: Isla, Dad's out there! The thing's gonna kill him!

Isla: Oh no, put dad on the phone now for me.

O: Listen to me! The thing from my dream is here!

I: What do you mean dad's out there?

I'll leave this example for a moment to give the interested reader an indication of the catastrophic film content. The dialogues barely complement each other and make absolutely no sense. Then I haven't even started talking about the terrible visual quality and the unbelievably bad acting. Director JT Kris probably did not have a large budget, but he does nothing at all with the resources he does have. In fact, for 75 minutes I had no idea what I was actually watching. It makes for a very unamusing and downright uncomfortable viewing experience that involves nothing more than vicarious embarrassment.
