An impressive documentary that was commissioned by the BBC 20 years after the disaster and produced by Wish/Art Films and Apple TV+.
I've watched just about all the documentaries about 9/11, and this one shouldn't be missed either. As a viewer you relive the horrific events of that day. Even 22 years later, it leaves quite an impact. As expected, this documentary also received a fair amount of criticism. Most viewers believed that this was a way for Bush and Cheney to justify their actions. A war on terror that lasted more than twenty years and cost $2.2 trillion. Apart from that, I thought it was a successful documentary.

Good documentary with very interesting images because it features people who you normally never see in a documentary. Such as the then president and vice president. It would be nice if there were ever a follow-up to investigate how the perpetrators prepared and carried out this and how America arranged the hunt for Bin Laden.

Interesting documentary. The images of the collapsing towers continue to move you. Fascinating to see how Bush handled the situation and what choices were made with too little information. Sometimes it is very patriotic; you have to accept that. What struck me is that just a few hours after this happened, Bush's primary concern was not the safety of the country or his own safety, but the question 'who did it and how are we going to catch them?'. Of course, a very relevant question, but perhaps just a little too soon? We can be glad that we didn't have Trump as president at that time, but someone who tried to make rational decisions.
