Elephants of Kilimanjaro plot

The largest and most impressive of all the animals that live on and around the flanks of the Great White Mountain are the elephants. This film contains images of these animals against the background of the white peaks of Kilimanjaro and shots of the timid and only sporadically sighted elephants that live in the high forests. Although no elephant ever reached the top of Kilimanjaro (5,895m), a skeleton was found nearly 4,900m above sea level. Why would one of these great creatures ever want to climb that far up the Great White Mountain?
