Konec Stalinismu v Cechách plot
A bust of Stalin is cut open by a surgeon on an operating table, from which a smaller bust of Klement Gottwald, Stalin's faithful student and follower, is born. A puppet government of the Communist Party led by Gottwald is a fact. The Stalinist way of doing things, the repression and the government that served the will of the USSR is depicted. With each new Soviet leader, the pictures on the wall change, from Khrushchev and Brezhnev to Gorbachev. Then the bust of Stalin reappears to symbolize the country's rebirth with the Velvet Revolution in 1989, a peaceful transition of power.
