The summer of 1961. Emil has just left the army and his brother Alex gives him a job in the DEFA studios in Berlin. After all, the set builder has been able to secure a spot as a bonus for his younger relative. But when Emil as a doppelganger has to fill in for the lead actor, he exploits the situation and passionately kisses a female actress.
