Tao Hua Qi Xue Ji plot
A poor peasant couple plants a peach tree in their front yard when their daughter Lim is born. The growth of the tree and the girl go hand in hand, as if there is a spiritual bond between the two. Growing up, Lim manages to attract the attention of the son of the rich, opium-addicted landlady. He falls in love with her, but his mother stands in the way of the affair: she believes he should marry someone from his own class.
