It's the late 80s. Pat Tate is a ruthless gangster from Essex who won't stop at nothing or anyone. He uses drugs continuously, and is looking for power. When Pat is betrayed by a drug lord, he ends up in jail. While in prison, Pat builds his own empire and devises a revenge plan.
