Very underrated film if I may conclude from this forum. Warm film with lifelike themes that are strongly portrayed. Partly thanks to very strong character development and sharp dialogues. Acting astonishingly good. It's a pity that there are people here who completely ignore that. What is mediocre or lifeless. Too ridiculous for words. Should it all be more spectacular, I don't think so.

Also looked at this one, but here too I was not immediately blown away. The story was only moderately interesting to me and the pace was not that fast. Fortunately, the cast did well, but this could not really save the film. Not exactly a must see.

Initially a bit stiff and pretentious drama about the recently graduated Thomas (Callum Turner), whose comfortable life in New York is turned upside down when he discovers that his father (Pierce Brosnan) is having an affair with the much younger Johanna (Kate Beckinsale, very beautiful here). ). Plot and characters fumble for the first hour, until the puzzle pieces start to fit together and the film actually works towards a strong and memorable ending.
