The Only Living Boy in New York plot
The talented young graduate Thomas (Callum Turner) lives a comfortable life in New York. However, everything changes when he discovers that his father (Pierce Brosnan) is having an affair with the gorgeous Johanna (Kate Beckinsale). Thomas wants to protect his mother, but becomes increasingly obsessed with his father's affair and his mistress in particular. Very underrated film if I may conclude from this forum. Warm film with lifelike themes that are strongly portrayed. Partly thanks to very strong character development and sharp dialogues. Acting astonishingly good. It's a pity that there are people here who completely ignore that. What is mediocre or lifeless. Too ridiculous for words. Should it all be more spectacular, I don't think so.
