L'Atelier plot
La Ciotat, southern France in summer. Antoine participates in a writers workshop in which a number of young people have to write a crime story with the help of Olivia, a well-known novelist. The writing process evokes memories of the industrial past of the city, a form of nostalgia that does not interest Antoine. More concerned with the fears of the modern world, he soon clashes with the group and Olivia, who become both shocked and fascinated by Antoine's violence.
