A movie that is at least as bad as the title. Not so strange, because the cast consists of strangers and the scenario is a combination of clichés and stupidity. Logic does not exist in this universe and the filmmakers have never heard of continuity: one moment the hurricane is tearing roofs off buildings, the next it seems like a pleasant summer breeze. Count the stupid twists, feel free to try watching the film without 3D glasses (the difference is really marginal!) and chuckle at the very forced presence of an English-speaking villain. At least, if you really have nothing better to do.

Watched because two hurricanes were heading my way at the same time and at one point the prediction was that they would both thunder over my hometown. Forecasts are fortunately never accurate, the hurricanes eventually both changed course and I've had only sunny days.

The portrayal of hurricanes in this film is not very realistic. Anyway, if you see how clouds form a skull right from the start, the film can't be taken very seriously in advance. In short, a B-movie with ditto acting. What's nice is that the whole disaster genre is mixed with a heist. It's something different again. Despite this, this is neither a good disaster film nor a good heist film, so wrong twice. I can give 1* for the original premise, but the film certainly doesn't deserve more in my opinion.

A mix between Fast & The Furious and a disaster film, but with a lot less budget and talent. The interior scenes will be mainly needed to hide the bad CGI of the storm. Fortunately enough happens to keep it somewhat fun, but that's about it.

Then you suddenly get this dialogue somewhere: I'm out of bullets! / Well how'd that happen? / I shot them all! which still makes for a smile among the rest of the standard text. Too bad there isn't more of this. Some self-mockery would have done the film well. The focus was too much on a real action movie.

Fans of this type of B-movie will enjoy it. But you won't miss anything if you skip this one.
