La Chasse au Lion à l'Arc plot

A superpower sneaks into the wilderness between Mali and Niger. “The American” African hunters call the giant lion that rules the vast bushbush. Director Jean Rouch introduces five lion hunters who ritually prepare for the hunt. Bows and arrows are traditionally made – for the poison on their arrowheads they walk 500 kilometers once every four years – and traps are skillfully set in the territory of The American.
