Stau - Jetzt Geht's Los plot

In this first part of the Halle-Neustadt trilogy, director Thomas Heise follows a group of skinheads in the East German Halle-Neustadt shortly after the Wende (Revolution - period between 1989 and 1990 in which the German Democratic Republic (GDR) changed from a communist dictatorship in a parliamentary democracy). An unbiased and at times moving portrait of young people who are desperately looking for an identity in an economically and socially torn context.
