Heerlijk opgeblazen dystopische actie onzin, al gaat het wel ergens over. Dat lijkt me verder wel duidelijk, maar de hoofdmoot is toch die enorme Schwarzenegger, lompe actie en een héle dikke dosis lol rondom de spelshow. De foute en hier en daar bijdehante one-liners vliegen je om de oren, het promo-videootje van Captain Freedom (Jesse Ventura!) is een giller, Climbing For Dollars kan zo naar Eyeworks (met een kleine aanpassing, iets met sterren of zo) en Killian is onvergetelijk en droog.

Hello, this is Killian. Give me the Justice Department, Entertainment Division. Dat ís grappig, net zoals het postertje van The Hate Boat in z'n kantoor. Of wat te denken van bestemmingen als Tutuville en Mandelaburg. Met Miss Venezuela, een gierend tempo, Harold Faltermeyer's gepingel en de meest kleurrijke stalkers die ook echt in een game thuis horen, slaat de fun-meter nog altijd regelmatig in het dieprood. Hoogtepuntje (en dat mag letterlijk worden genomen) is wanneer Buzzsaw iets voelt zagen.
