The Chisholms plot

In April of the year 1844, Hadley Chisholm, his wife and children left the state of Virginia after losing their land in a lawsuit. They pack their meager possessions in a covered wagon and leave for the West. They face a number of setbacks. One of their horses is stolen and they meet hostile Indians. Pride, courage and also adversity keeps them together on their long, grueling road.
