Bering Sea Gold plot

There is a gold rush in Nome, Alaska. However, the precious metal is not found in the ground in this frontier town. It is in the most unlikely place: the bottom of the cold, unpredictable Bering Sea. This reality series follows people who are willing to risk everything to get the gold. While they sometimes find valuable ore, the prospectors often have to contend with choppy seas, poor underwater visibility, inconsistent fuel supply, personnel problems, mining rights and countless other hurdles.
