Gannibal plot

After causing a major incident, police officer Daigo Agawa takes his wife Yuki and daughter Mashiro to the remote village of Kuge. It seems like the perfect place for the family to recover, despite the mysterious disappearance of the previous agent stationed there. The village flourishes through forestry and the inhabitants live from cypress wood. At the head of this operation is the Goto family, who own most of the village. One day the body of an old woman is found on the mountain. The Goto family say she was attacked by a bear, but Daigo sees a human bite on the arm. Daigo begins to suspect that something is wrong in the village.
