Takryu plot
The turbulent fortunes of three people converge around the Gyeonggang River, where all of Joseon's money and goods flow. Jang Si-yul is a good-for-nothing who hides his past. Choi Eun heads a commercial group and is a principled and just man. Jung-chun is an upright government official who wants to eradicate the corruption surrounding the Gyeonggang River. The river itself, once clean and blue, has become a murky river, reflecting the now lawless Joseon.
