Chefs vs. Wild plot

In each episode, two contestants are taken by helicopter to a remote location where they are tasked with finding enough ingredients to prepare a delicious meal. The chefs are each paired up with a survivalist and an outdoor expert, ready to stop the chefs from committing suicide by accidentally eating poisonous mushrooms or falling into a ravine while searching for oysters, seaweed and other edibles. . Once they've found all their ingredients, the chefs head to a "wilderness kitchen," where they're tasked with preparing a meal for host Kiran Jethwa, a chef and adventurer in his own right, and game food expert Valerie Segrest. The judges then choose a winner.
