Scream: The TV Series plot
After online bullying results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence used is reminiscent of past massacres. These murders have plagued many, intrigued others, and perhaps inspired a new killer. I just watched the whole series. It consists of 10 episodes instead of 13 that I misdescribed in the message above. I think I was wrong about season 2 which actually only consists of 12 episodes. Anyway! I was critical beforehand. How can you turn something that would normally be cast in a movie into a series?
I have to say that this is one of the surprises of the year for me. It's not emmy-worthy, of course, but I had a lot of fun with it. After each episode I started to wonder who the culprit is. And I immediately thought that was the biggest downside of the series. A skinny blogger is apparently capable of such deeds. Of course she has a motive. After the slight disappointment, I found it surprising and logical.
I wasn't looking forward to a second season right after the end. They should have finished it for me. I'm curious to see what they'll make of the second season. I'll definitely check that out.

Surprisingly fun series with a disappointing ending.
Yes, the acting isn't very good and we've seen the story many times before, but isn't that the whole idea of Scream? Didn't expect that I would find an MTV series (read: the current MTV) about Scream interesting, but this series looked a lot to me.
Main role Emma is often mentioned here and on other sites for the bad acting. Thought it was fun and a very likeable character. Also characters like Audrey and Noah were fun. I was pretty convinced to the end that I knew who the killer was, but I was completely wrong. Unfortunately was my least favorite character, the blogger girl, the killer (yuck, what a bad acting she can say) and we still know little about the motivation of her helper.
Was actually hoping that season would have a closed ending and season 2 would continue with a different group, but we'll see what happens. If you doubt this series, just try it!
