Sam, a skeptical big-city doctor, comes to the small town of Middleton with his son Nick. When he comes to live next door to the Gray House, he doesn't quite know what to think of Cassie Nightingale, a widow with magical powers, who lives next door with her daughter Grace. However, their bond keeps getting stronger.
