Vanity Fair plot

The setting for this dramatized adaptation of the book of the same name by William Makepeace Thackeray is the Europe of the Napoleonic Wars. Becky Sharp (Natasha Little), a penniless orphan girl, and Amelia Sedley (Frances Grey), the sheltered daughter of a wealthy merchant, form an unlikely and close friendship.
