The Split plot

The Split is about the fast-paced circuit of powerful female divorce lawyers from the perspective of three sisters Hannah, Nina and the youngest, Rose. Hannah and Nina are leading divorce and family lawyers at competing firms, while Rose is still searching for her place in life. Despite their strong career, the sisters' private lives are not exactly a bed of roses. Their father has been absent for thirty years and when he suddenly returns, this causes quite a stir. This is also made more difficult because they are simultaneously busy with big, complicated matters at work.

The fourth season of The Split consists of two episodes set in Catalonia. Spanish sun, a stunning estate, a wedding and the usual relationship troubles make the lawyer series even more soap opera and less vicious drama. Although qualitatively at a familiar British level, this special feels redundant.
