The Ridge plot
Mia is a doctor living in Scotland with addiction problems. She accepts an invitation to her estranged sister's wedding in New Zealand. Upon arrival, Mia learns that her sister has died. While grappling with her grief and her attraction to her deceased sister's fiancé, she learns about the tensions between environmentalists and the indigenous people of the rugged mountain community.
