The 100 plot

This show takes place 100 years in the future, when the Earth has been abandoned due to radioactivity. The last surviving humans live in the Ark orbiting the planet, but the Ark does not have eternal life. So the repressive regime picks up 100 redundant juvenile delinquents and sends them to Earth to see if the planet is still habitable.

Season 7 was definitely the most divisive season of The 100, but I still found it really engaging. The darker sci-fi themes, the mystery around the anomaly, and the emotional moments between the characters kept me invested throughout. Some story decisions were frustrating, especially near the ending, but the season still had that intense survival atmosphere that made the series special from the start. Not a perfect final season, but still memorable for longtime fans.
