Ordeal by Innocence plot

Jack Argyle is sentenced to life in prison for murdering his mother, but dies in prison after only six months. No one ever doubted his guilt, until two years after the murder, someone suddenly shows up who could have given Jack an alibi. That means the real killer is still at large. Blame, guilt, and justice are central.
