Mrs. Davis plot

Simone is a nun who goes to war against an all-powerful artificial intelligence known as "Mrs. Davis." Simone's rebellious ex Wiley, meanwhile, has his own vendetta against the algorithm. As a result, an exploration of faith versus technology ensues and an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions ensues.

Interessant concept van Lindelof & Hernandez, zeker actueel met de opkomst van ChatGPT en andere AI-gerelateerde programma’s, maar de uitwerking laat te wensen over. Vaak maf en abstract, zoals The Leftovers en Watchmen dat ook al waren, maar hier kwamen alle ideeën gewoon niet lekker samen tot één geheel. Gilpin is wel uitstekend, in haar tweede samenwerking met Lindelof na “The Hunt.”

Interesting concept from Lindelof & Hernandez, certainly current with the rise of ChatGPT and other AI-related programs, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Often wacky and abstract, like The Leftovers and Watchmen were, but here all the ideas just didn't come together nicely into one whole. Gilpin is excellent though, in her second collaboration with Lindelof after "The Hunt."
